Hyderabad, March 3 -- Aiming to strengthen its presence in the paddy mechanisation market across southern India, Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL), a leading engineering conglomerate, with over 80 years of experience in agricultural and construction equipment manufacturing, launched Powertrac 'Shaurya', a new 'South Special' paddy tractor series in the 39-52 horsepower (HP) range here on Tuesday. Pricing range starts at Rs 5.75 lakh and goes up to Rs 7.30 lakh (Ex-showroom), the new tractor series, comprising five variants, marks the first dedicated paddy- and wetland-focused range introduced under the Powertrac brand, the company said on the occasion.
