Hazaribagh , Jan. 2 -- Under its zero-tolerance policy against cybercrime, Hazaribagh Police have busted an active cyber fraud and sextortion racket operating in the name of "escort services" across multiple states. Six cyber criminals were arrested from the Vishnugarh police station area, while a car and significant digital evidence were seized.
According to police, the Superintendent of Police, Hazaribagh, received technical inputs based on complaints and data available on the Pratibimb App. The inputs indicated that certain mobile numbers were being used near Bhelwara village under Vishnugarh police station limits to advertise fake escort services on fraudulent websites.
