Chennai, April 11 -- Dismissing Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) President and actor-politician Vijay as a newbie in politics, AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) on Saturday, without naming the movie icon, urged the youth to shun the actor but be grateful to him for granting all pass during the Covid pandemic while exercising their franchise.
"It is we (the AIADMK regime) who gave you education and granted all pass during the Covid pandemic. For college students, we provided online classes. It was the AIADMK government which gave degrees to all students," he reminded the youth and asked "Can you forget us now? at an election rally in nearby Tiruvallur district.
