Hyderabad, April 30 -- The Central Election Commission has officially approved the name "TRS" for the political party floated by K Kavitha, granting formal recognition to "Telangana Rashtra Sena."Kavitha had announced the party name earlier this month at the Advaya Convention Centre in Medchal. Following due process, the Election Commission has now accorded its seal of approval to the party.
Officials handed over the approval letter to Kavitha at her residence in Banjara Hills, marking a key step in the party's formal entry into the political landscape of Telangana, a party statement said on Thursday.
