Puducherry, March 30 -- The electioneering for the April 9 Assembly elections in the union Territory of Puducherry has reached its peak with candidates of all political parties and Independents indulging in door-to-door and auto rickshaw campaigns.
Prime minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Puducherry on April 3 to canvass votes for the NDA candidates.
According to BJP sources here, Mr.Modi will conduct a road show from Ajantha Signal Junction to Anna square.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be visiting Puducherry on April six to address a public meeting at Thirukkanur in Mannadipet constituency from where Home MinisterA Namasivayam of BJP is contesting.
