Patna, March 21 -- The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr was today celebrated with great enthusiasm across Bihar as thousands of devotees gathered at mosques and Eidgahs to offer special prayers.
In the state capital, elaborate arrangements were made at Gandhi Maidan, where a large number of people offered Namaz (prayer) amid tight security and administrative arrangements.
JDU leader Nishant Kumar and the son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar attended the main prayer at Gandhi Maidan and greeted the people.
According to the reports pouring in from various districts, people dressed in traditional attire thronged mosques and Eidgahs to offer prayers.
