Manali, Jan. 29 -- In response to heavy rainfall and snowfall, the Kullu district administration has ordered the closure of all educational institutions in the Manali sub-division on Thursday.
The decision comes after landslides and road blockages over the past 48 hours disrupted connectivity, posing safety risks for students commuting to schools and colleges.
According to an order issued by Dy Commissioner Kullu Torul S Raveesh, intermittent rainfall and snowfall over the past 48 hours have led to incidents of landslides and road blockages at several places in the Manali sub-division.
The disrupted road connectivity poses a serious risk to the safety and security of students commuting to and from educational institutions.
