New Delhi, Feb. 10 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Jalandhar Zonal Office, on Tuesday said it has restituted six attached immovable properties worth Rs 20.21 crore to the State Bank of Patiala and Catholic Syrian Bank.
The ED said the properties were attached under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in a case against M/s Nature Heights Infra Limited and its director, Neeraj Thatai alias Neeraj Arora, in connection with a money laundering investigation linked to the defrauding of investors.
The attached immovable properties, for which restitution has been allowed by the Court, include commercial properties located in Fatehgarh Sahib district of Punjab.
