Sant Kabir Nagar, Feb. 11 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday conducted a raid at the residence of Maulana Shamshul Huda, a British citizen originally from Sant Kabir Nagar district.
A three-member ED team from Lucknow reached his house in the Meeth Mandi area under Khalilabad Kotwali limits around 8 AM. The officials seized the mobile phones of family members present at the house and began questioning his wife and daughter-in-law. His son, Tausif Raza, was reportedly not present during the raid.
CRPF personnel were deployed outside the residence, and entry of outsiders was restricted.
