New Delhi, Jan. 20 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Bhopal Zonal Office, stated on Tuesday that it has filed a chargesheet against Shailendra Pasari before a special PMLA court in Jabalpur.
A notice for a pre-cognizance hearing has been issued against the accused.
The ED initiated its investigation based on two FIRs registered by the CBI's Anti-Corruption Branch in Jabalpur. The first FIR was registered under various sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
In this case, Shailendra Pasari, then Senior Manager (Civil) at Northern Coalfields Limited's Jayant Project in Singrauli, was caught red-handed while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 for clearing pending escalation bills.
