New Delhi, March 27 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED), Bhopal Zonal Office, on Friday said it has attached movable and immovable properties worth Rs 83.24 lakh in a case involving Prabhakar Shukla, Assistant Manager (Survey), South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), Korba, Chhattisgarh.
The ED initiated a PMLA investigation based on an FIR registered by the CBI, ACB, Jabalpur against Prabhakar Shukla under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act for allegedly acquiring assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. Subsequently, the CBI also filed a chargesheet before the Ld. Special Judge for CBI cases, Jabalpur, in this matter.
