New Delhi, Jan. 29 -- The Economic Survey presented by the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Lok Sabha on Thursday pegged India's economic growth between 6.8 per cent and 7.2 per cent in the financial year 2026-27.
Notably, this is lower than the 7.4 per cent growth projected for the coming financial year.
It further noted that while global economic conditions remain uncertain and fragile, India's overall outlook continues to be positive.
For the ongoing financial year, the government has pegged economic growth at 7.4 percent, higher than the 6.3 per cent to 6.8 per cent range projected in last year's survey.
