Agartala, March 13 -- A three-member team from the Election Commission of India (ECI) visited Dharmanagar on Thursday to assess the preparations for the upcoming by-election in the Dharmanagar Assembly Constituency in North Tripura and reviewed the situation with the senior civil and police officials.
The ECI delegation comprised Principal Secretary, N T Bhutia, Secretary, Santosh Kumar Dubey, and Section Officer Vijay Gupta. The team evaluated the district administration's readiness for the by-election and offered guidance to ensure its smooth execution.
