Kolkata, March 28 -- The Election Commission has released the second supplementary list of 'under consideration' voters as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in West Bengal on Friday night.
Like the first list, the Commission did not disclose the number of names that have been disposed of in this phase, nor the number of voters whose names have been deleted.
The first supplementary list was published on March 23, in which nearly 27 lakh names were included. According to the Commission, around 40 percent of those names were removed.
The final voter list was originally published on February 28.
