Chandigarh, Feb. 18 -- The Election Commission of India (ECI) has officially announced the schedule for the Rajya Sabha elections for two seats in Haryana, which are set to fall vacant as the terms of sitting BJP MPs Kiran Choudhry and Ram Chander Jangra conclude on April 9.
According to the notification issued on Wednesday covering 37 seats across 10 states, the voting in Haryana will take place on March 16, with the final results expected to be declared the same evening. Aspiring candidates have until March 5 to file their nominations.
