Bhubaneswar, Feb. 21 -- General Manager of East Coast Railway, Parmeshwar Funkwal, conducted a comprehensive safety inspection of the Nayagarh-Jakhapura section under the Khurda Road Division to assess safety standards, infrastructure condition, and operational efficiency across major railway installations.
The inspection began at Nayagarh Railway Station, where the General Manager reviewed station and yard arrangements, including platforms, operational systems, and passenger amenities.
He also examined facilities such as the Crew Lobby, Health Unit, Running Room, Railway Colony, and Children's Park. Passenger amenities at key stations in the section, including Kendujhargarh and Harichandanpur, were also inspected.
