Reckongpeo (HP), Feb. 5 -- An earthquake measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale was recorded in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh during the early hours of Thursday.
The tremors were reported at around 3:59 AM, with the epicentre located in the district at a shallow depth of about five kilometres.
According to the report, two mild tremors were felt during the early morning hours. As the intensity was low, most residents did not feel the tremors, and daily life remained unaffected.
There were no reports of loss of life, injuries, or damage to property from any part of the district. Officials said the situation was normal and there was no cause for concern.
