Bangkok, Feb. 1 -- Early voting for Thailand's House of Representatives election started at 8 a.m. local time on Sunday, with more than 2 million eligible voters unable to cast their ballots on the official polling day of Feb. 8 participating in the process.
Voters taking part in early voting received two ballot papers at polling stations: one to elect a constituency candidate for the House of Representatives, and the other to vote for their preferred political party. The early voting concluded at 5 p.m. on the same day, and all ballots will be counted together after Feb. 8.
