Thiruvananthapuram, April 6 -- The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has called on the Centre to take urgent and stringent action against alleged unfair practices by certain e-commerce and quick commerce companies, warning that these are severely disrupting India's retail trade ecosystem.

In a memorandum submitted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the traders' body flagged growing concerns over unregulated business models, particularly among firms backed by foreign investments.
