Dumka, Jan. 31 -- Preparations for the 47th Jharkhand Day celebrations, scheduled to be held on February 2 in Dumka, have been completed, with the event expected to be historic, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leaders said on Saturday.
Dumka MLA Basant Soren said that a large gathering of tribals and original inhabitants from remote areas of Santhal Pargana would participate in the rally under the JMM banner.
He said Chief Minister and JMM president Hemant Soren will attend as the chief guest, along with senior party leaders and legislators, who will highlight the state government's achievements and apprise people about key issues including the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and UGC-related matters.
