Ranchi, Sept. 11 -- A Dumka court today acquitted Jharkhand Health Minister Dr Irfan Ansari and Jamtara Congress MLA cum former MP Furkan Ansari, along with one other accused in a decade-old tenancy dispute case.
The verdict was delivered by Mohan Chaudhary, Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate and Judge of the Special Court for MPs and MLAs, during the hearing of Complaint Case (PCR) No. 110/2022.
After hearing arguments from both sides, the court ruled that the accused be released honorably on the basis of mutual settlement and lack of evidence.
