Imphal, Feb. 5 -- Manipur government officials and security personnel continued their drive against drug and illegal poppy plantations.
Police on Thursday said a combined team of security forces and forest department destroyed a total of 180 acres of illegal poppy plantation at Leingangching hill range under Litan-PS, Ukhrul district. About 20 huts found at the plantation sites were also destroyed.
