Itanagar, April 1 -- The Naharlagun Police has arrested a suspected drug peddler and recovered heroin during a swift and well-coordinated anti-drug operation.
Acting on credible information, a police team led by Officer-in-Charge of Naharlagun Police Station, Inspector K Dev, along with SI Vivek Linggi, head constable K Samyor, constables AY Dangngo, Sanu Raj T, and lady constable W Lowang, carried out the operation.
The operation was conducted in the presence of Executive Magistrate Khoda Bath and under the supervision of Naharlagun Superintendent of Police Dr Nyelam Nega.
The accused, identified as Tajar Taji (30), a resident of Dumporijo in Upper Subansiri district, was apprehended from his rented accommodation.
