Hyderabad, Jan. 31 -- Officers of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Hyderabad Zonal Unit, seized 27.15 kg of hydroponic weed (ganja) valued at approximately Rs 9.5 crore at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) here and arrested seven suspects.

Acting on specific intelligence, DRI officials mounted surveillance at the Airport Arrival Village at RGIA. Around 1.15 am on January 30, four Indian international passengers arriving from Bangkok by Thai Airways flight TG-329 were intercepted along with three associates while handing over their check-in baggage.
