Patna, Jan. 31 -- The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence has confiscated charas weighing 31.097 Kg and valued at Rs. 77.74 lakh and arrested a person under the provisions of the NDPS Act, 1985, near Chapwa-Turkauliya Road in East Champaran district.
Official sources said here on Saturday that acting on a specific intelligence, the officers of DRI Patna intercepted a motorcycle occupied by a person carrying a jute sack. The search of the said jute sack led to recovery of 63 packets of charas.
