Sangli, Feb. 12 -- Maharashtra higher and technical education minister Chandrakant Patil said that District Planning Development Committee (DPDC) has approved a draft plan of Rs 751.8 crores, with additional demand of Rs 206 crores, approved for the year 2026-27 for the Sangli district.

At a press conference on Wednesday, after a DPDC meeting at the district collector office, Patil, who is also district guardian minister, asserted "We will try to bring maximum funds through the District Planning Committee for the overall development of the district and try to get increased funds for all sectors like agriculture, education, health, rural development, urban development, tourism development and power supply."All government officials should wo...
