New Delhi, May 9 -- Stepping up its efforts, the Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) on Friday kickstarted a fresh initiative called "Road Pollution Control" programme, which is an intervention to strengthen on-ground monitoring, and enable rapid redressal of dispersed sources across the national capital.

As part of the programme, dedicated ground-level field surveyors have been deployed in each district and will function under supervisory oversight every working day to systematically survey roads across Delhi and identify pollution hotspots in real time.
