New Delhi, Jan. 22 -- Ayush Doheja produced a remarkable exhibition of grit and determination, scoring an unbeaten century to rescue Delhi from a near-certain collapse and keep his side in contention on the opening day of their Ranji Trophy match against Chhattisgarh.
Delhi's innings appeared to be unravelling rapidly after a series of setbacks left them reeling at 119 for 9. With specialist batsmen back in the pavilion and the prospect of being bowled out cheaply looming large, Doheja shouldered the responsibility under intense pressure.
