Sambhal, Feb. 28 -- A doctor has been taken into custody in Sambhal for allegedly posting objectionable edited images of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media on Friday. Police are currently questioning the accused, who had reportedly created and shared two separate edited photographs as his WhatsApp status and on Facebook.
According to police officials, the images were posted on Friday from a Facebook account named "Dr Iqbal Yahiya Vinayak Hospital." The pictures soon went viral, prompting authorities to initiate an investigation to trace the individual behind the post.
