Chennai, Feb. 19 -- Ending the prolonged speculations, the DMDK of later actor-politician Vijayakanth on Thursday formalised its alliance with the ruling DMK-led Front ahead of the ensuing Tamil Nadu Assembly polls.
This was for the first time since its formation the DMDK had entered into an alliance with the DMK, which was further strengthened by its entry.
DMDK General Secretary and Vijayakanth's wife Premalatha accompanied by her brother Sudeesh and her son Vijay Prabhakaran metTamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin at the DMK headquarters "Anna Arivalayam" and formalised the alliance.
