Chandigarh, Jan. 13 -- Uncertainty and debate have intensified over Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's scheduled appearance before the Akal Takht on January 15, after the Sikh religious authority revised the timing of his summons, prompting a strong response from the Chief Minister.
The Akal Takht Secretariat earlier in the day announced that Mann should appear at 4:30 pm instead of the originally fixed 10 am. The Chief Minister, who has been summoned to clarify certain public remarks and a related viral video, said he has no other engagements on January 15 and remains ready to appear at the originally scheduled time.
