Lucknow, Jan. 13 -- An important study conducted by the Faculty of Law at Lucknow University, under the Uttar Pradesh Government's Research and Development Plan 2021-22, has revealed the true status of daughters' inheritance rights.
The report clearly states that while there are discussion of equal inheritance rights for daughters in agricultural land and ancestral property, in practice, they are still being deprived of property.
