Direct flights between Bangladesh, Pakistan to resume after 10-year halt

Dhaka, Jan. 7 -- Bangladesh's national flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines is all set to resume direct flights from Pakistan's Karachi to Bangladesh's capital Dhaka later this month, said a spokesperson for the airlines on Wednesday.

Bushra Islam, a senior official with Biman Bangladesh Airlines, told Xinhua that the airline would resume the service on Jan. 29, with two weekly flights on Thursdays and Saturdays.
