New Delhi, March 3 -- The Delhi Legislative Assembly on Tuesday hosted a grand Holi Milan at its historic complex, bringing together diplomats from more than 31 countries, political leaders and public representatives in a celebration marked by cultural harmony and democratic fellowship.
Addressing the gathering, Speaker Vijender Gupta said Holi represents India's civilisational strength and democratic spirit.
"Delhi, as the capital of the world's largest democracy, welcomes the world not only through diplomacy but through culture and shared celebration," he said, adding that the festival signifies the victory of truth and righteousness.
