Chennai, Oct. 18 -- Needling the AIADMK of being desperate for a tie-up with film star-turned politician Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), ousted AIADMK leader and AMMK general secretary TTV Dhinakaran today predicted that the 2026 Assembly election would witness a new alliance under the actor taking on the ruling DMK, even as TVK decided to shun deepavali festival fetein to mourn the Karur stampede that claimed 41 lives during his political rally on September 27.
"AIADMK is desperate for teaming up with Vijay's TVK and Edappadi K Palaniswami appears prepared for it", he said.
