Prayagraj, Feb. 3 -- A massive surge of devotees was witnessed on Tuesday, at the Magh Mela being in Sangam, on the occasion of Trijata Snan.
A large number of devotees are taking a holy dip at the various ghats of the Sangam. Trijata Snan takes place on the third day after the full moon of the Magh month.
While a large number of devotees who observed Kalpavas (a month-long religious observance) on the sands of the Sangam from Paush Purnima to Maghi Purnima returned home after the Maghi Purnima bath, a significant number of devotees remained in the tents set up at the Magh Mela and return home only after the Trijata Snan on the third day.
