Varanasi, Jan. 15 -- On the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, a special midday offering and aarti (ritualistic worship) were performed for Baba Vishwanath on Thursday.
On this auspicious occasion, Baba was offered traditional and sattvic (pure) food. During the midday offering and aarti, Baba Vishwanath was offered khichdi, flattened rice, peanut brittle, papad, and pickles.
After the offering, the aarti was performed according to the prescribed rituals, clearly reflecting the faith and devotion of the devotees.
