New Delhi, Dec. 29 -- Heavy fog across Delhi-NCR on Monday morning disrupted air and rail services, with low visibility severely impacting operations at the IGI Airport.
According to officials, poor visibility led to the cancellation of 128 flights, the diversion of eight others, and delays to over 200 flights.
Although Delhi airport authorities said operations have now returned to normal, the effects of earlier low visibility continued. IndiGo cancelled 80 flights across the country.
As of 10:30 am, 178 departing and 69 arriving flights at Delhi airport were delayed, according to flight tracking website Flightradar24.
