Lucknow, Jan. 25 -- Uttar Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer ( CEO) Navdeep Rinwa said that "My India, My Vote" is not just a theme, but a mass movement to strengthen democracy. He appealed to citizens, especially women and youth, to ensure their names are on the electoral roll and to actively participate in the democratic process.
Addressing the state-level programme held in Lucknow on Sunday on the occasion of the 16th National Voters' Day, Navdeep Rinwa said that a Special Intensive Revision campaign was conducted in Uttar Pradesh after 22 years, under which house-to-house verification was carried out, and the final draft electoral roll published on January 6 included the names of 12,55,56,025 voters.
