Nagpur, April 22 -- The Association for Industrial Development (AID), a leading organization working towards the industrial growth of Vidarbha, has intensified its efforts to establish the headquarters of the upcoming Synthetic Natural Gas (SNG) project in Nagpur.

According to a press release issued on Wednesday, AID President Ashish Kale recently submitted a representation highlighting the strategic importance of locating the project headquarters in Nagpur.

Acting on this request, union Minister Nitin Gadkari has written to senior officials of Coal India Limited (CIL) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), urging them to consider the proposal positively, the release said.
