New Delhi, March 23 -- The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday said that the Delhi government should provide Rs 1 crore compensation and a job to the families of two murder victims in separate incidents in Uttam Nagar and Wazirpur.

Addressing the issue, AAP's Delhi unit chief Saurabh Bharadwaj referred to the killing of a Dalit youth, identified as Tarun, in Uttam Nagar and the murder of an electrician in Wazirpur. He said both families were facing financial distress and should receive equal support from the government, including monetary compensation and employment for a family member.
