New Delhi, Feb. 2 -- Delhi legislative assembly speaker Vijender Gupta on Monday launched the Annual Health Check-Up Programme for sitting MLAs at Civil Line''s Sant Parmanand Hospital, saying that healthy representatives lead to stronger institutions and better public service.
Inaugurating the programme, Gupta said the initiative reflects a new beginning achieved through dialogue and consensus among all Members of the Legislative Assembly.
The health check-ups will be conducted from February 2 to February 14, 2026, under the existing health framework of the Delhi government.
Speaker said that six MLAs would undergo medical examinations every day as part of the programme.
