New Delhi, Aug. 25 -- The national capital's rural belt on Sunday honoured wrestler Yashita Rana at Qutab Garh village in North-West Delhi, for winning the silver medal in the recently concluded World Wrestling Championship 2025, held at Athens, Greece.

A large number of people, mostly coming from the city's villages, reached the event organized to congratulate and encourage Rana, where MP Yogendra Chandolia and Palam 360 chief Surender Solanki congratulated the young wrestler, along with other prominent people coming from Delhi's villages.

Palam-360 Panchayat president Chaudhary Surendra Solanki praised Rana and said that the daughters of the villages are waving the flag of India in the world of sports on the strength of their hard work....
