New Delhi, May 2 -- Four members of a family including three children were killed when a tree fell on their makeshift room in the Najafgarh area of Delhi following storm and rain on Friday, police said.
According to the police, the strong winds and rain uprooted a tree which fell on a tubewell room built on a field in Kharakadi Nahar village of Najafgarh. The room collapsed and the entire family sleeping inside was buried under the debris.
Four family members, including a woman and her three children, died in the incident, while the husband was seriously injured and hospitalised.
