New Delhi, Dec. 9 -- Delhi PWD Minister Parvesh Verma on Tuesday slammed the previous Arvind Kejriwal government, accusing it of having failed to even build a proper drain in the villages of the national capital during its decade in power.
Verma said that during the previous AAP regime, the entire rural belt of the national capital, the colonies and the underprivileged areas including the slums remained cut off from development.
The minister was in rural Delhi's Karala and Kanjhawla area, where he laid the foundation stone for a major infrastructure overhaul that is set to reshape the region.
