New Delhi, March 19 -- Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested a 26-year-old man, who was a key accused involved in a high-profile extortion and firing case at Jagatpuri, an official said on Thursday.
According to the police, the accused, Jaswinder Singh, a proclaimed offender from Ambala in Haryana, was arrested after evading police for nearly a year.
The arrest was made by a team led by Inspector Sunil Teotia under the supervision of ACP Kailash Bisht, they said.
"Jaswinder was named in an FIR, which was registered on April 3, 2025 at Jagatpuri police station under Sections 125 BNS and 25/27 of the Arms Act, following a firing incident at the residence of a local resident who had refused to pay an extortion demand," said Narra Chaitanya...
