New Delhi, Jan. 25 -- The Crime Branch of Delhi Police on Sunday arrested a national-level shooter involved in a cyber fraud amounting to Rs 40.27 lakh.

A senior police official said that the victim was cheated through fake online gaming platforms, share trading, and IPO investment schemes.

The arrested accused has been identified as Himanshu Chauhna alias Shooter, a resident of Agra (Uttar Pradesh). The accused is a national-level shooter who has won a silver and a bronze medal in the National Shooting Championship and gold medals in state-level competitions. The investigation revealed that the accused misused his identity and network to arrange mule bank accounts for carrying out cyber fraud.
