New Delhi, Feb. 16 -- A couple's escape from the law ended in Bihar when the Delhi Police arrested the duo, declared proclaimed offenders, 20 years after they had murdered a young girl in the national capital.
Sikander and his wife, Manju spent 20 years constantly changing addresses. As a daily-wage labourer, his moves from Bihar to Delhi and then to West Bengal appeared routine, however, in reality, the couple was fleeing from the law.
Their run came to an end on February 10 after a team of Delhi Police got their hands on them from a village in Bihar's Banka district.
According to the police, the couple had allegedly murdered a 14-year-old girl in Delhi's Nangloi in 2004 and had been absconding since then.
