New Delhi, April 1 -- Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday highlighted the role of the Indian Agricultural Research Institute in strengthening the country's farmers, and stated that with its research and bridging the gap between farms and the laboratories, the institution has supported agriculture.

Gupta, who attended the 122nd Foundation Day celebrations of the IARI here as the chief guest, paid tributes to the scientists, researchers, and experts.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, she said that the institution has shaped Indian agriculture, starting from the Green Revolution to modern technologies, and has reinforced food security and self-reliance.

Gupta also released two publications titled 'Improved Crop Varieties f...
