New Delhi, Sept. 30 -- The Delhi government will conduct the last rites of veteran BJP leader and Delhi's first Chief Executive Councillor, VK Malhotra, with full honours, said Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today, expressing deep condolences on the veteran leader's demise.
Malhotra breathed his last early today in New Delhi.
Gupta expressed profound sorrow over his passing, calling it an immense and irreplaceable loss.
She assured that the state government would ensure his last rites are conducted with full honors.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister visited Malhotra's residence to pay her humble respects and said that his demise is a significant loss.
